Get started

A short path from an empty integration to a verified Lucion Identity request.

Integration path

  1. Create an application in the Developer console.
  2. Choose OAuth/OIDC for user-facing access or a scoped API key for server-to-server profile access.
  3. Register only the redirect URIs and origins you actually use.
  4. Implement browser authentication with a password or passkey, or use the OAuth authorization code flow.
  5. Log request IDs and treat error codes as stable classifications, not provider bodies.

Choose the right surface

  • Browser identity: verified-email password or passkey authentication with secure HttpOnly sessions.
  • User-authorized integration: OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code + PKCE and OIDC.
  • Backend profile integration: scoped lid_live_ API key or OAuth access token.
  • Enterprise lifecycle: organization-bound SCIM bearer token.
